Marcy and Aaron first met on a blind date, and went out for nine months before getting engaged. The couple chose the Bowery Hotel for the ceremony and reception after a close friend recommended the venue. "It was the first and only space we looked at," says the bride. She wore a knee-length dress by Oscar de la Renta, purchased from Bergdorf Goodman. "A classic cocktail dress was perfect—I didn't want to wear something that would overpower me or the space," says Marcy. The evening ceremony was officiated by a childhood friend of the groom, and included readings of The Velveteen Rabbit and Bob Dylan's song "Forever Young." Read more about the couple's wedding here.
