It seems that the craze for Marie Antoinette-inspired weddings continues on: I was speaking with San Francisco-based hair stylist Armando Sarabia of Get Your 'Do Up! about which celebrity photos brides have been bringing in recently as inspiration. After naming some of the usual suspects (Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood), Armando told me that a lot of brides are also coming to him with photos of Kirsten Dunst from Sofia Coppola's 2006 film Marie Antoinette. "For vintage-inspired weddings held in a romantic setting, a modern Marie Antoinette-inspired updo is incredibly popular," says Armando. "The look is all about height, which involves teasing, hairspray, and a hair pad to provide volume in all the right places." What do you think—would you go for a modified Marie Antoinette bouffant at your wedding, or is the style way too over the top? —Lauren Matthews, editor, Brides Northern California
