Are you having a wedding guestbook?

This week in our forums user Deliciousappleblue is wondering if guestbooks are necessary.

"I really don't think I need a book full of autographs," she said. "Will my guests notice if I don't have one and think it's weird or rude?"

CheetahAngel said, "Do what you want to do. It's not required to have a guestbook and I doubt any of the guests will even notice or care that you don't have one."

JennHugsJake offered an alternative idea. "If you feel awkward about it, they actually make these autographable picture frames so you can put a picture of you and you fiance, like maybe from your engagement photos, and then have people sign the frame. That way it's a piece of art and not some random book you will probably stash in the attic and never see again."

Are you going to have a guestbook at your wedding? Will you go the traditional route, and have a standard book, or are you planning on doing something different, like JennHugsJake suggested?
