Adorable Central Park Proposal

Grooms, NY, NJ and CT, Wedding Style & Decor

Wedding and proposal planner Sarah Pease of Brilliant Event Planning sent me this proposal story, and it's super cute, so I had to share. Edward and Nicole's first date was a picnic at a castle, so Sarah designed Edward's proposal around Belvedere Castle in Central Park. After Edward told Nicole he wanted to take her photo from a lower balcony and dashed down the steps, a guitar player started strumming the opening notes of Sonny and Cher's "I Got You Babe." One by one, all of the "bystanders" (actually hired professional singers) around Nicole started to sing along and each approached Nicole with a single red rose. As the first chorus began, Edward appeared and got down on one knee. Cue the awwws! Afterward, the couple enjoyed a gourmet picnic and the best seats in the house for the New York Philharmonic concert.
