For the current issue of Brides New York, I interviewed recent bride Maureen Meyer for a story about how stylish New York City brides put together their wedding day looks. I was totally in love with Maureen's retro-slash-modern style, so when she mentioned that she was in the process of launching a fashion-forward wedding invitation company, I was intrigued. She told me that she was working on the designs with partner Ashley Rosebrook, a former colleague (the pair worked together in the graphics and packaging department at Aveda, and then later designed stationery and wedding invitations for Pistachio).
Last week, Maureen sent me the live website link for Rosebrook Meyer NYC, and the results are stunning. The clean, typography-focused designs are bold, elegant, and edgy. The 28 invite designs are divided into five categories (sophisticated, avant garde, glamorous, classic, and sensuous), and are all printed on duplexed paper, which is twice as thick in weight as regular stock and feels super luxurious. The core collection can be ordered online, and Maureen and Ashley offer custom designs, as well. I included a few of my favorite designs above, but I'd definitely recommend clicking over to rosebrookmeyer.com to view the entire collection. —Lauren Matthews, editor, Brides New York
