"This style epitomizes the Melissa Sweet sensibility—feminine, flirtatious and optimistic glamour," say designers Lia McNairy and Antonio Gual who were inspired by Will Cotton's paintings of candy and confections for their new collection. This dress is made from yards of silk chiffon and silk taffeta cut into ribbons and features pleated organza at the hem and flowers with crystal clusters. As for the rest of the collection that the designers describe as "dimensional, whisper, and blooming," expect to see sheer fabrics with dramatic movement and delicate refined embroideries. —Cari Wolfert
