This multi-layered organza gown features lace appliques and hand painting. "It is unique because of the asymmetry of the layers which are made of a semi-sheer silk organza," says the designer. "The textural effect is flattering and dramatic. I wanted the collection to reflect our theme this year, which is Heaven and Lace. My translation of that was to have soft flowing fabrics and delicate details. I also wanted the collection to be very textural with flattering silhouettes." As for the rest of the collection, expect to see lots tulle, organza, chiffon, and lace as well as fabric manipulation. —Cari Wolfert
