Our Favorite Travel Tunes

Honeymoons & Destination Weddings, Music

I'm going to see Eat, Pray, Love tonight. I didn't love the book, but the film trailer totally drew me in due largely to the fact that it features one of my current favorite tunes, "Dog Days Are Over," by Florence + The Machine. That song is made for traveling and whenever I hear it, it makes me want to hit the open road or jump on a plane and head somewhere I've never been. It got me thinking about how much music can enhance a trip (or inspire us to take one), so I thought I'd ask around the office and find out what songs our editors travel with. From show tunes and rock anthems we sing along to in the car, to slow songs that help us sleep on planes, here is the music we love to listen to when we're out exploring this big, beautiful world.—Leigh Crandall
