"Chris and I wanted a fairly classic wedding, with lots of personal touches," says Leigh, brides.com's managing editor. Their 5:30 p.m. ceremony was held at the Old South Church. At the reception, held at the Boston Public Library, books with personalized nameplates served as both escort cards and favors. "We had fun hunting for volumes to fit each of our guests' interests," says the bride. Of the venue, Leigh says, "Chris and I are both bookworms, so hosting our wedding at the library was perfect. We loved the history and the breathtaking architecture of the place. We also liked the idea of dining and dancing in a library—two things you're usually not supposed to do there."
