After a relaxing weekend involving lots of lounging, snacking, and minimal exercise (read: no exercise), I came to work this morning ready to take it easy on the sweets. However, as soon as samples from New York City's Sarivole Organic Bakery (sarivole.com) arrived at the office, I crumbled faster than their peanut butter–oatmeal cookie, which I completely devoured in about three seconds flat. My lack of self-restraint didn't end there—I also had to try Sarivole's brownies and brown butter pound cake, both of which are downright irresistible, even to someone who (unlike myself) knows the meaning of "moderation."
Sarivole's all–organic cookies ($15 for six) come in seven different flavors, including chocolate chip, peanut butter oatmeal, and lemon coconut. Gluten–free cookies are also available and honestly taste just as fantastic as the other flavors. Find Sarivole products at Milk Bar in Brooklyn and Tiny's Giant Sandwich Shop in Manhattan. You can also purchase the treats online sarivole.com/menu.htm; use the promotional code "SAVE15" to save 15% on your purchase. —Rosie Purdy, Editorial Intern
