While hanging out with hip, fedora wearing party–goers at the Malibu Rum "First Day of Summer" event in TriBeCa, I was smitten with a special something. No, I'm not talking about the handsome, tan bartenders or the hunky, swimsuit–clad dancers. What caught my eye (and tickled my tastebuds) was the perfect summer shot: The World's Fastest Piña Colada by Malibu. This shooter is a smooth and sweet option that would work well at a poolside bachelorette party or even a casual rooftop reception (if you're planning a formal wedding, I'd save this for the after–party). You get the sweet flavors of a real Piña Colada without the "ugh–I'm–so–full" feeling. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients
3 parts Malibu
1 part whipped cream
Pineapple wedge
Directions
Layer the whipped cream on top of Malibu in shot glass. Eat the pineapple after drinking the shot.
