Connie Miller, Studio Atticus
After meeting in law school, Jessica and Jay decided to return to the bride's childhood summer home to celebrate their nuptials. The moment Jessica spotted this Monique Lhuillier gown in a magazine, she knew it was the one. "I had looked at hundreds of dresses, in magazines and online, and loved this one instantly," she says. "I have very specific taste, and the gown fit my style exactly right." She accessorized with ruby and diamond bracelets that once belonged to her great-grandmother. The reception was held in a tent set up in the summer rental home's backyard. When choosing her floral arrangements, Jessica was inspired by the blue hydrangeas that are so plentiful on Cape Cod. Florist Meredith Fancy, of Fancy Flowers, created whimsical centerpieces of hydrangeas in galvanized-tin buckets. UnderCover Tent & Party, the tent-rental company, provided the gingham tablecloths.
