A friend of mine is getting married in San Francisco next month and is on the hunt for a vintage-inspired hair accessory to complement her gorgeous Amy Kuschel gown. My pick? "Gwen," a birdcage veil (on right; $65) by San Diego-based accessories line Lo Boheme. Run by Josh and Lauren (Lo) Christensen, this husband-and-wife team crafts these head pieces from their 1920s bungalow in San Diego. Lauren scours local flea markets, antique stores, and estate sales in search of vintage pieces to incorporate into the accessories, including antique French veiling and delicate millinery leaves. I'm also drawn to "Bellocq" (on left; $195), a beautiful headband featuring feathers, millinery trimming, and hand-dyed silk ribbons, for a bit of soft color. —Heather Lee, Editor, Brides Southern California
