Modern Trousseau's Ebony dress features a black, Chantilly lace bodice over ivory silk duchess finished with a soft tulle skirt. The designer describes it as "very 1950's haute couture" which is where she got her inspiration from the collection. "This season we have worked a lot with texture and on developing our own fabrics and trims," says the designer. "We have paid special attention to the finishes and handmade belts and trims. We take great pride in the quality of the fabrics that we use, the finish and the fact that we are designed and made totally in the United States of America."
