The inspiration behind Anne Bowen's 2011 collection was "feminine strength from the inside" as well as "crystal formations and glaciers".
The combo of female power and artic allusion resulted in a collection full of modern gowns created with special attention to texture. And the featured gown is the perfect example of how well the two inspirations came together; a "soft tulle covered in hand-sewn semi-precious stones of moonstone, quartz and Swarovski crystals and faceted silver beads" literally shimmers like a floating glacier. At the same time, the clean lines, hip-hugging cut and tip-of-the-shoulder neckline emanates a cool confidence.
