If you're a Bay Area bride, here's an event you're not going to want to miss: The Wedding University, taking place on January 31 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Silicon Valley. The day-long event is filled with educational seminars lead by "teachers," a.k.a. some of the top wedding professionals in the area. Topics include everything from creative decor ideas, to wedding etiquette, to choosing your flowers, music, and menu (and you'll get to sample some delicious food). Participants are also entered into a drawing to win fabulous gifts, like a three-night honeymoon stay at a Four Seasons Resort in Hawaii, Bora Bora, or Whistler.

The cost is $75 per person, or $125 per couple; space is limited to just 150 participants, so register now! Log onto wedding360llc.com, or visit wedding360LLC.blogspot.com for more info. —Lauren Matthews, editor, Brides Northern California
