Monique Lhuillier: The perfect gown for a winter (fairytale) wedding

Wedding Dresses, Wedding Dresses

Michelle Preli

Monique Lhuillier's Fall 2010 collection leaves you with the feeling of a fairytale winter wedding. (Maybe that's why all her models were wearing hats?) The "over-the-top treatments" described in the line sheet include fabric manipulation, embroidery, feathers and beading. In addition to ball gowns, a-lines were seen numerous times on the runway.

The designer couldn't make it to the show because she is expecting the birth of her daughter in the coming weeks. Monique: The show was absolutely fabulous and we wish you, baby Sophia and the rest of your family all the best at this exciting time! —Anne Chertoff
