The second collection for Jewel by Priscilla of Boston designer Kelly Faetanini was designed to "emphasize the sexy curves of the body" as shown in the sketch featured here, Style No. JL202. "The faille sweetheart neckline with delicate straps on a sculpted fit-to-flare body, detailed with contouring seams and malleable faille flowers encrusted in the center with rhinestones placed at the low hip is the epitome of modern femininity," Kelly explains.

Kelly tells Brides.com that the collection's "modern flower details were inspired by the Tudor Rose (shown below), a favorite jeweled look of the Renaissance. Design emphasis is placed on taking a simplistic silhouette and amplifying the fresh lines with modern sculptural seam lines inspired by corsetry." —Anne Chertoff
