The Daily Beast featured a gallery of some of the "World's Ugliest Cakes" recently, inspired by the blog Cake Wrecks, and the author's upcoming book, Cake Wrecks: When Professional Cakes Go Hilariously Wrong.
This blog is hysterical and in some cases scary to think that these are professional bakers who have made these disastrous cakes - sometimes by mistake (misspellings, squashed) and sometimes at the request of the person ordering the cake.
