There are letterpress and engraved invitations. There are flat cards and invitations that open. And now you can order invitations that play music or "speak" to your guests.

Invite by Voice allows couples to record their voice or select a song to play as guests open their invitation. I've seen several samples from the company and one had a couple telling the story of how they met while the other played Mendelssohn's Wedding March. There are 12 songs to choose from.

There are several design options to choose from: a folded invitation card, a handmade box or a handmade folio. The box and folio are available in 30 different silk fabrics with 46 ribbons and several embellishment options to choose from. You can also work with their custom department to create something unique for your wedding.

Pricing varies depending on the style you select and on the quantity that you order. Visit invitebyvoice.com to learn more about these unique wedding invitations. —Anne Chertoff
