Good news for downtowners: One of my absolute favorite Manhattan sweet shops, Billy's Bakery, opened a second location at 75 Franklin Street in Tribeca a couple months ago. The new spot has all the same delicious goodies as their Chelsea boutique, including cakes, cookies, bars, pies, cheesecakes, and, my personal favorite, red velvet cupcakes (which, when packaged up in Billy's signature single-serving boxes, make the perfect wedding favors).
