Seasonal specialties

Albert, EB's art director, recently introduced me to the cutest little farmers market that takes place just around the corner from our office (lucky us!). We sampled super sweet watermelon and cantaloupe, and I stocked up on delicious heirloom tomatoes and fresh basil to add to a simple pasta dish. Maybe next time I'll be daring enough to cook something that warrants the pretty edible flowers I spotted. Seasonal produce always looks, smells and tastes the best—imagine an August wedding menu featuring summer squash, peaches, blueberries or beets.
