One of the most important things I've learned from working here at Brides New Jersey is that inspiration can come from many different places. In our Fall/Winter 2009 issue, on stands now, we show how something as everyday as a textile can inspire an amazing, gorgeous, unique wedding. We asked the talented Anne Heap of New Jersey-based Pink Cake Box to create miniature cakes that, when placed side-by-side, mirror the gorgeous ombre pattern. I totally gasped when I saw her creations for the first time—and I think you will too when you pick up this issue of the magazine. For a small wedding, having miniature cakes—one for each guest, can be a really fun idea!
