Guest Activity: The Sam Adams Brewery Tour

Boston, Grooms, Wedding Style & Decor

If they're not in the wedding party out-of-town guests usually have at least a day of downtime before your celebration. So, one of the handiest items you can include in welcome baskets is a list of suggested activities in the area. I'm currently putting one together for my own wedding in Boston and came across the Samuel Adams Brewery Tour, which sounds right up any Lager-lover's alley. Guests to the brewery will learn about the history of Sam Adams, experience the brewing process, and, yes, taste several of the company's signature brews. Tours are held every day except Sundays and are approximately one hour. And, since the brewery is located within walking distance of the Stony Brook T stop, there's no need to drive. —Leigh Crandall, managing editor, Brides Boston
