Nervous about performing your first dance with your new husband in front of your family and friends? Veteran dance instructor John Cassese, who has taught hundreds of people to dance before their weddings (including Adam Sandler and Bachelorette Trista Rehn), is sharing his top tips for making your first dance a success:

Dancing begins with posture! The best way to acquire good posture is to back up against a wall with your heels, calves, buttocks, shoulders and head against the wall. Do this several times a day.

Always keep your eyes at eye level. This helps keep your head up. Looking down pulls your head down, which is a sign of insecurity.

When in doubt, do a basic step until you know what you want to do next.
