Are brides and their bridesmaids on the same page during wedding planning? We asked. You answered! Brides.com partnered with Lemondrop.com to poll more than 4,000 brides and bridesmaids to see just where they agree -- and where they don't. Here's what you said...
When it comes to friendship, an overwhelming majority of engaged women (95 percent), said they believe their relationship with their bridesmaids will either remain the same or improve due to the wedding planning experience, and the majority of bridesmaids agree (78 percent). However, one in five bridesmaids do think the bride-to-be's "bridezilla" tendencies are going to ultimately tarnish their bond.
Bridesmaid Dress Angst
The poll found that a majority of brides-to-be (88 percent) believe the bride should consider cost when choosing bridesmaid dresses. But surprisingly, bridesmaids said they were less concerned about whether or not the bride thought about the price tag, with little more than half (55 percent) thinking it should be a factor in choosing the dresses.
Would you appear on a Reality TV wedding show?
The majority of brides (72 percent) would consider participating in a reality show about their "I do's," depending on the details. However, most bridesmaids (62 percent) would adamantly shy away from reality television cameras during the wedding planning process and the big day itself.
Everybody Loves Reese
Total agreement! Reese Witherspoon trumped Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, Tina Fey and other favorite female celebrities to be declared the ideal celebrity bridesmaid across the board, the #1 pick among both brides-to-be and maids.
Celebrity Wedding Inspiration
Brides said that the celebrity wedding they would most like to replicate would be Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's backyard ceremony with just family. This beat out Tom-Kat's opulent walk down the aisle in Italy and Eva Longoria and Tony Parker's Paris ceremony and celebration, among others. But bridesmaids preferred a day at the beach, choosing Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's beach nuptials as the #1 celeb wedding they would most like to emulate.
