Some of Connecticut's top wedding pros will be joining forces for a sure-to-be-amazing (and informative) event on Sunday, May 3 from 1 pm to 5 pm. The event, put together by True & Wesson and Hana Floral Design, will focus on the sensory elements of weddings and promises to be an inspiring, educational gathering for brides and grooms.
Abby Larson, of Style Me Pretty, will be on hand to share her vision for incorporating the five senses into the design of a wedding. In addition, local vendors will be sharing their own ideas for creating memorable wedding elements, and offering intimate workshops. (Participating vendors include Chocolate Creative Design, Gourmet Galley, Sugarbelle, Stonington Design + Paperie, Maggie Conley Photography, Buzz Media Videography, twobirds Bridesmaids Gowns, Sperry Tent, and many more.)
The event—also a fundraiser for The Life is good Kids Foundation—will be held at the Saltwater Farm Winery, in Stonington, CT, a bucolic property located inside a World War II-vintage airport hangar. Tickets are $20 per person or $35 per couple; visit weddingsthecreativeprocess.blogspot.com or call 203-530-5127 to reserve your spot. —Lauren Matthews, editor, Brides Connecticut
