Runway Report Card: Lela Rose

Colorado, Wedding Dresses, Wedding Dresses

Owners of Anna Be, Anna Walsh and Breanna Doll, reported on Lela Rose's new collection for us, describing it simply as "soft architecture." Perfect for a romantic bride who loves design, appreciates attention to detail, and still wants to be just a little bit unique on her wedding day, the two agree that dresses from this collection can be worn in any setting. "The collection introduced some great new fabrics that are so very Lela-esque," says Anna. "There is a real hand-done feel to the entire collection and yet she was very conscious of cost and there is some really well-priced dresses."

One of their favorite dresses was called the Barn (an oh-so flattering deep v-neck dress with lace embroidered tulle). They agreed that the ruched obi waist would look amazing on different body shapes and really cinch in the waist. Plus, it's under $5,000! They also loved the dresses called the Library that they described as an amazing take on a ball gown. It's modern yet soft and really beautiful—with silk organza crystal and chiffon embroidery it's got just the right amount of bling!
