New York—Judd Waddell showed 10 gowns this afternoon, many with lace. Sometimes the lace accented the midriff and then the bottom of the trains. In one interesting version, he sent the lace up vertically on both sides of the gown. Another gown, shown here, had wonderful wispy scalloped tiers cinched with a sash (sash color is sand). The gown had beautiful movement, great for giving off that wonderful wedding gown swish, swish sound. —Michelle Preli
