The Adria dress is made from silk Italian taffeta and is indicative of Anna Maier ~ Ulla-Maija Couture's latest collection which is intended to add a sense of drama and further the mood to glamour.
"In Adria, you clearly see the drama and elegance of the line of the body," says Charles Bunstine, one of the designers of the collection. "Throughout the collection we draw attention to the line of the body by creating long sculptural lines."
A major trend to look out for in their new collection is the idea of using contrast to highlight different aspects of their dresses. For example, Bunstine explains, "We contrast and mix fabrics in gowns to highlight the individual characteristics of each fabric. We mix the smooth luster of duchess satin with the crisp sheen of taffeta and the hush of satin face organza."
As for a take-home tip on wedding dress shopping, Bunstine suggests that you shop for the "feel" that you will want on your wedding day and says, "You will know the dress not when you see it, you will know the dress when you feel it."
