Get the a good way

A signature cocktail is a simple but effective way to carry out your wedding style. Matching the drink's color to your overall palette is a good place to start. We asked the planning gurus at Table 6 Productions to create a drink to match the popular reception color scheme of blue and orange. The resulting "Blue Swoon" is easy to recreate--I picture serving it at a celebration in a modern loft, or during warm weather on a city rooftop.

Blue Swoon

1 oz. blue curacao liqueur

1 oz. apple juice

4 oz. champagne or Prosecco

1/2 oz. Rose's Lime Juice

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake. Strain into a martini glass. For a sweet touch, line rim of glass with sugar and garnish with a slice of green apple. — Leigh Crandall, Managing Editor, Magazines
