Reel Review: Marley & Me

It's puppy love for John (Owen Wilson) and Jenny Grogan (Jennifer Aniston) when we meet them on their wedding night at the beginning of the new film Marley & Me. A blizzard on their big day has left them freezing and wondering if there is a deeper meaning (superstition says that rain on your wedding day is good luck—to us snow just means you're cold). The two look effortlessly in love—Jenny in a v-neck dress with a ruffled neckline accented with a wrap, and John with a classic tux and glowing grin (see more photos of their attire).

The two find warmer weather in Southern Florida where their new life starts along with the purchase of a terrorizing but oh-so-loveable Labrador that they name Marley. From there, humor, love and sadness ensues as the movie chronicles the life of the Grogans and their growing family, all somehow held together by the love they have for their dog.

It's the perfect holiday film to see with friends, family or your new fiancé. Check it out in theatres tomorrow. —Cari Wolfert
