When it comes to mountain weddings, it can sometimes be hard to find venues that are more "modern and stylish" than "rustic country." Good news for those seeking the former: The alpine-chic Osprey at Beaver Creek resort is opening this December.

The first new hotel to open in Beaver Creek in over ten years, it will also be the closest ski-in/ski-out resort to a chairlift in North America. The resort's 45 guest rooms will feature warm colors and richly textured surfaces, such as locally-sourced stone, indigenous metals, and birch wood. The hotel also offers a tapas-style restaurant that hosts mixology lessons and wine tastings, an outdoor pool and poolside bar, complimentary breakfast, and ski valets.

Ideally located next to the charming Beaver Creek Chapel, the hotel can host wedding receptions in their intimate Peregrine Room, with a balcony overlooking Beaver Creek, for up to 75 people.—Lauren Matthews, associate editor, Brides Local magazines
