A Jon & Kate Plus 8 Wedding

Mark Arbeit / TLC

Do you guys watch Jon & Kate Plus 8? It is such a cute show! Last night's episode documented Jon and Kate's vow renewal in Hawaii. The two had always dreamed of having their wedding there so when they finally had the opportunity to visit they decided to get married again with their children (all 8!) there to witness.

Kate got her dress, perfect for a destination wedding, at Kleinfeld in New York City. Jon wore a simple white shirt with khakis, and even bought his sons authentic Hawaiian shirts to sport for the ceremony.

Jon and Kate made it a point to incorporate their kids into their wedding. The children stood outside a circle of flowers (made up of all different blooms to represent the personalities in their family) where their parents recited their vows.

Each layer of their cake represented a different part of their family, Jon and Kate, their twins Cara and Mady, and their sextuplets, Aaden, Joel, Collin, Leah, Alexis and Hannah. The cake was topped with 10 flowers to represent the family as a whole. —Cari Wolfert

Wedding Wisdom: Whether it is your own children or someone else's who you are incorporating into your wedding, don't worry if they don't stand perfectly in place or need to take a break during the ceremony. Kate let her kids sit down or run around throughout the ceremony, it was more important to her that everyone was together rather than making sure everything went perfect.
