If you're looking for a honeymoon suite that will help make your wedding night one to remember, check into The Guggenheim. Yup, you heard me right—The Guggenheim museum. From October 25 to January 6, you can make a reservation to stay at a one-room hotel located right in the middle of the landmark museum on Fifth Avenue.
As part of the upcoming group exhibition theanyspacewhatever, artist Carsten H??ller has created a luxury hotel room situated on three slowly rotating overlapping glass discs in the museum's lobby. The wall-free "room" includes a double bed, a desk, a changing area, and access to a bathroom/shower; you'll also receive robes, slippers, and a continental breakfast...not to mention the entire rotunda and its exhibits all to yourselves, once the crowds are booted out at closing time...
Of course, security will still be on site for obvious reasons...but hey, doesn't an art exhibit call for at least a teensy bit of exhibitionism? For reservations call 212-360-4373; $539-$799 per night. —Lauren Matthews, Associate Editor, Brides Local Magazines
