Planning your wedding is exciting and fun. But just when you thought you knew exactly how your wedding would be, unexpected, sticky situations arise. Can a bride ask her bridesmaid to cover a tattoo or alter her appearance for the wedding? Can you ask guests to give cash gifts if that's what you really want? And who's responsible for paying for the parent wedding albums?

Our new, expanded etiquette section is meant to help you work through these questions. To that end, I'm happy to introduce our new expert, Anna Post, who is contributing wedding etiquette advice every week exclusively to Brides.com. We love Anna's approach to modern issues. It's one that emphasizes respect. And it's meant to offer guidance for those dilemmas you didn't anticipate so you don't unintentionally hurt someone's feelings.

You can check out our new etiquette section here. And if you have an etiquette question of your own, please ask us. We hope to be a great resource for you. —Michelle Preli
