Project Runway is one of my favorite television shows, so I was excited when last night's episode focused on a topic that's near and dear to everyone here at Brides.com: wedding dresses! On last night's episode, Heidi Klum told the four remaining designers that they would be judged on bridal gowns that would represent their collections for Fashion Week. But that wasn't the show's only surprise—the designers also were required to create bridesmaid dresses to match their gowns. I absolutely loved the origami pleats on Leanne's structural, modern gown (left). And Kenley's dreamy, feathery dress was surprisingly sweet and romantic (doesn't the quirky headpiece remind you of Carrie's wedding look in the Sex and the City movie?).

No word yet on whether any of the designers are planning to design their own bridal lines (à la Kenneth Pool's Austin Scarlett), although...

There's more!

Leanne designed an avant-garde wedding dress before appearing on the show, and says that she has "some plans to create wedding dresses for a few clients in the future." Take a look at all the wedding and bridesmaid dresses and don't forget to tune in next week for the season finale! —Kathryn Papanek
