Anne Barge began her career in bridal gowns as an apprentice designer at Priscilla of Boston. In 1981 she opened Anne Barge for Brides in the upscale Buckhead area of Atlanta. After the store was acquired by bridal giant, Kleinfeld in 1994, Anne was asked to setup Virgin Bride in London - a division of business mogul Richard Branson's corporation. While in London, Anne began designing a private label line for the salon, introducing a clean, elegant style of wedding gowns into the British bridal gown market. In 1999 Anne launched the Anne Barge Bridal Collection. Her classic designs are sold in bridal salons across the country and around the world, including an atelier at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta.
