Soft looks

Wedding Dresses, Wedding Dresses

Chicago —We visited with Mon Cheri designer Martin Thornberg. What does he see as a trend this season? "A lot more lace with softer looks and shapes," he says. The "Sue" dress definitely fell into the category of a soft and flowing shape. It has botanical beading that mixed pattern and texture vertically down the dress. "This silhouette lengthens the body," he says.

One stand out in the Destinations collection by Mon Cheri was a satin faced chiffon gown with an empire waist with a beautiful flow that could flatter many kinds of figures.
