Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga are engaged, People.com reports. It was a dream come true for the Oscar-winner when Otunga popped the question last Friday night in Los Angeles. Otunga, who was known as "Punk" on the reality show I Love New York 2, proposed on Hudson's 27th birthday with a Neil Lane diamond ring. The couple, who are both from Chicago, have been dating for less than a year. No pictures of the engagement ring yet, but Hudson clearly know a thing or two about looking amazing in jewelry: the Dreamgirls star sparkled when she inaugurated the new Kwiat flagship boutique earlier this month. —Kathryn Papanek
