Last week, several editors from Brides Local magazines and Brides.com headed to Manhattan's Meatpacking District to attend the grand opening party for Gabriella New York, an intimate bridal boutique with a refreshingly relaxed and unexpectedly homey atmosphere. Owned by the charming Gabriella Risatti, a former buyer for Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein, the sunny loft space is filled with a well-edited collection of accessories and gowns by on-the-verge designers like Matthew Christopher, Amy Kuschel, and—our new favorite discovery—British designer Sassi Holford that NYC brides won't find anywhere else in the city...

As partygoers sipped wine and nibbled on mini-quiche, us editors circled the room picking out our favorite dresses. And even though our personal styles range from girly and romantic to modern and minimalist, there seemed to be something for everyone. "The most important thing to remember when shopping for a gown is to keep an open mind and try on a variety of styles and silhouettes," advises Gabriella.
