While going for Olympic gold, United States beach volleyball player Kerri Walsh lost another piece of gold—her wedding ring. The ring flew off into the over 17,000 tons of sand that were brought into the park where the game was taking place when Walsh was going up for a block. Like a true professional, Walsh didn't lose her cool, and her and teammate Misty May-Treanor still were able to pull off a win against the Japanese team. With the help of video and metal detectors, the ring was finally found and will be returned to Walsh today. See the full article.
