Want to get your guests dancing on your big day? It is impossible to sit still when music from the new movie Mamma Mia, inspired by the songs of ABBA, is playing. Just ask Meryl Streep who plays Donna, mother to fresh-faced Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) who desperately wants to know who her father is before she gets married. Unbeknownst to her mother, Sophia sends out invitations to three men after figuring out that one of them is her father. What follows is a musical revolution of chaos, dancing and all out fun.
Set on a remote island in Greece, the surroundings play the perfect backdrop to Sophie's dream wedding at her mother's cozy yet disheveled hotel. A chapel atop a cliff lined with lights hosts the ceremony where Sophie wears a beautiful and breezy Grecian-inspired gown.
Over the top? Forget it. This flashy flick leaves the top five miles back and just keeps dancing. So if you are in the mood for a glittery musical filled with 70's tunes and beautiful scenery go see Mamma Mia this weekend. —Cari Wolfert
