New bridesmaid dress collection Queue has taken a cue from women worldwide who want stylish, fashion forward dresses they can wear on their friend's wedding day and after. With a simple principle, "wear it, in a wedding or not" each of Queue's dresses is road tested by creative director Hannah Shen-Mei Williams. After each design is created, she wears it to a non-wedding related event (luncheon, cocktail party, night on the town) and determines if it is "dotted line" worthy—meaning you would want to wear it to an "everyday" event.
Williams, who has been a bridesmaid several times, truly enjoys weddings and being a part of her friends' special day, but has also endured several fashion no-no's while serving as a 'maid. As for the goal of the collection? "I'm hoping that brides and bridesmaids alike embrace the notion that individual style should be transcendent and enduring and not context specific," says Williams.
The Queue collection is currently available at queuecollection.com and select Bella Bridesmaids locations for $230-$580. —Cari Wolfert
