Second time's the charm for Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas. The 26-year-old reality star, who won hearts after being rejected by Bachelor Brad Womack on national television last November, has given the final rose to professional snowboarder Jesse Csincsak. In a romantic proposal, Jesse asked DeAnna to marry him, presenting her with a 2.3-carat Tacori diamond ring. "When I look at you the word that pops into my mind is forever," he said. DeAnna, who looked stunning in a blue ombre strapless gown by Badgley Mischka, was excited to finally be able to share her feelings with Jesse. "When you came out of the limo the first night, I would have never thought I could fall in love with you," she said. "When I was with you and your family, I fell in love."

And the couple has already set a wedding date! During the After the Final Rose special that followed the finale, DeAnna and Jesse revealed that they will marry on May 9, 2009, possibly in the Bahamas where they got engaged. "It's going to be big. I have a huge family, there's no way I could cut down my list," DeAnna told me in a conference call last Wednesday. "I'm kind of a traditional girl. I want lots of white." Just how big is she thinking? Well, DeAnna said that she isn't opposed to the idea of broadcasting her wedding on national television. "I know that there are a lot of followers and supporters who would like to see that happy ending," she said. —Kathryn Papanek
