It's not your mother's wedding, but it is an important day for her too! In honor of Mother's Day this Sunday, we've come up with the top three ways to ensure Mom's a special part of your big day. —Anna Pezik

The Dress: For as long as you've been dreaming about your gown, we suspect Mom has been too. Share this special moment and invite her along when you dress shop.

The Ceremony: Make mom part of the ceremony. One idea: Ask your officiant to perform a rose ceremony, where you and your groom each offer a rose to your mothers. This tradition honors their love for you.

The Photos: Remember to have your photographer snap some shots of just you and Mom. This formal portrait—or creative candid shot, if that's more your style—gives her a wedding keepsake she'll treasure.
