The white dress code

Isabella/Splash News

Beyoncé and longtime beau Jay-Z finally made it official on Friday, reports. We're still awaiting details on what the bride wore to the private ceremony and post-wedding bash, held atop the groom's Tribeca apartment, but photos have revealed a few of her female guests' fashion choices—Gwyneth Paltrow, sis Solange and Destiny's Child bandmates Michelle Williams (left) and Kelly Rowland all wore shades of white!

Deliberate? Perhaps—the couple did reportedly fly in over 50,000 white orchids from Thailand for the rooftop reception, so an all-white dress code isn't out of the question. It's also possible that the bride simply has friends with a bold wedding fashion sense. But this does raise the question: Is wearing white to a wedding a faux pas? I want to hear your thoughts! —Anna Pezik
