More wedding dresses on the red carpet

At this weekend's Screen Actors Guild Awards, stars both wore wedding dresses on the red carpet, and dresses inspired by bridal. The Closer's Kyra Sedgwick wore a Vera Wang wedding gown that we saw on the Fall 2009 runway. Drew Barrymore, who won an award for her work in Grey Gardens, wore a Monique Lhuillier gown similar to this champagne ball gown that we saw in the same season.
At last week's Golden Globes Kate Hudson wore a Marchesa wedding dress, and Felicity Huffman wore a Jenny Packham dress also similar to a bridal style. Could this be the start of a new trend?
