Latest floral obsession: Berries
Courtesy of Amy & Stuart
For a while, I was completely obsessed with craspedia and succulents—the elements add such unusual texture to a bouquet or boutonniere and perfectly complement an outdoor weather held in a warm climate. But I'm beginning to move on, and really think that berries are going to be the next "it" element. How incredible is this boutonniere by Flowerwild, in Los Angeles? The combination of hypericum berries and raspberries is fresh and textural, and the colors complement each other so nicely. Kate Holt, the owner and designer behind Flowerwild, included berries throughout this wedding—in the bride's and bridesmaids' bouquets, as well as in all the reception table arrangements. Tell me, what do you think will be the next "it" floral element? —Heather Lee, Editor, Brides Southern California
