Brides are Talking
Would you wear an untraditional engagement ring?

This week in our Brides.com Forums brides talk about what they think of the idea of wearing an untraditional engagement ring. See what our brides have to say here:
Some brides like the idea of a ring that truly represents their unique relationship. "The ring symbolizes my FH and I and represents our tastes and styles. We don't care what people expect and it didn't appeal or suit either of us to have a big sparkly diamond," says Rose217.
Others feel that a more traditional ring might be a more timeless style. "As far as other jewelry goes, I like to get different, funky pieces, but styles change, colors don't go with everything, and my taste will change numerous times throughout my marriage. So for those reasons, I'm happy with traditional wedding rings," says ArtBride.
And some brides love the compliments they receive on their unique rings. "My engagement ring is a black diamond. I have gotten many compliments on it. Even my grandma thought it was perfect, said she wished it was an option for her 56 years ago!" says Theblackdiamondgirl.
